Students created these observational still life watercolour and tempera paintings to practise refining their brush control and their colour mixing skills.

Students then chose to zoom-in on interesting sections of their paintings and re-create these compositions using colour in a new way. Students used the colour wheel to explore the effects of hot, cold, complementary and harmonious colours.
