Year 7 students (aged 11-12) responded to the theme of nature in a variety of ways in both 2D and 3D forms.
Students worked on developing and refining their first-hand observational drawing skills using a range of media including shading pencil, watercolour paint, chalk pastel, pen and modelling clay.
In this unit of work students worked directly from a range of natural forms in order to focus on developing their observation skills and understanding and mastery of the formal elements of art.
