Students began this project by using a range of brushes and tools to explore the painting techniques of Vincent Van Gogh, Georges Seurat and Claude Monet. Developing student's fine motor skills was a focus of this project.

When students had created a collection of painting samples they were given the challenge of deconstructing and re-arranging their paintings to create new compositions. Students had to consider their choices about shape, colour, space and composition to create their collages.
