This mini illustration project was part of a larger personal identity unit in which students explored ways to communicate their personal interests, personalities and cultures using a range of drawing techniques.

In this unit students used the complex, detailed and playful illustrated letters of the artist Yuko Higuchi as inspiration for their work. Students own personal initials were customised to create unique and personal illustration expressing different aspects of their identities.
