I am a British art teacher with 14 years' teaching experience in both UK state and international schools in Singapore and Japan. I have taught art to students aged 7 to 18 and I have 10 year's experience as Head of Art.
I have experience teaching a broad range of art disciplines including painting, drawing, collage, mixed-media, print-making processes, ceramics, sculpture, installation, assemblage, digital art, batik, fibre arts and stop-motion animation. As part of my professional development as an art teacher I have taken the opportunity to broaden my own art skills in new areas including ikebana and ceramics. I enjoy working in a variety of media and specialise in illustration. I take inspiration for my own art practise from my frequent travels, particularly journeys in Japan.
