ART TRIPS

Below are a range of art enrichment trips I have led and co-ordinated.

Year 5 sketching trip to Fort Canning in Singapore

In collaboration with the history department year 5 (age 9-10) students visited Fort Canning in Singapore to gather research and sketch en plein air as part of their landscape and places unit of work. Students experimented with sketching architectural aspects of the important historical location using the drawing processes inspired by the visit to the school of artist in residence, Ian Murphy.

Year 5 trip to the Future World exhibition at the Art Science Museum, Singapore
Year 5 students (aged 9 to 10), visited the Art Science Museum in Singapore to experience the interactive artworks at Future World. The exhibition was created in collaboration with teamLab, a renowned interdisciplinary art collective known for creating cutting-edge digital installations. The experience allowed students to see the potential of combining digital technologies with fine art practises.

GCSE and A Level trip to the studio of Turner Prize nominated artist, Cathy De Monchaux
A group of students studying for GCSE and A Level art (age 15 to 18) visited the studio of Cathy De Monchaux, the Turner Prize nominee.
