As part of a wider identify and portraiture unit students explored the aesthetics and symbolism of Japanese Manga art.
Students chose a specific emotion they wished to portray in their portrait and selected elements and aesthetics of Japanese Manga symbolism and colour theory to portray the inner feelings of the character in their portrait.
