This special Middle School art club enrichment project brought together students from Kindergarten and Middle School grades 6, 7 and 8 (age 11-14).
Kindergarten students were given the theme of 'Our Monsters' and asked to create a design for their ideal monster character. Once the design was completed Kindergarten students recorded videos explaining their ideas and specifications to their Middle School partner students.
Middle School students were then given the challenge of researching and then re-creating a professional interpretation of the monster listening carefully to their partner's specifications.
